Jay Crapo

Owner / Agent

As owner, Jay has been a licensed Property & Casualty Agent since 1995 and a licensed Life & Health Agent since 1999. A native of Terre Haute and graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School, he also served six years in the United States Air Force. Jay is a retired NCAA referee who has spent years advocating for youth sports in the state. He is devoted to the business and servicing clients with courteous, professional attention and providing a high level of dependability.

Gregory Winchester

Agent

Greg has been a licensed Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance Agent since 1969 in Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and Nebraska. He moved to Terre Haute in 1989 and came to work for Crapo Insurance Agency in 2004. Greg has served on the Ambassador committee of the Chamber of Commerce, with the March of Dimes Culinary Stars fundraiser, and with the BPO Elks. He is a member of Union Christian Church.

Karin Martinek

CSR

Karin moved to Terre Haute in 2006 with her husband Harry and her three sons. After working at First Financial Bank as a teller for four years, Karin joined Crapo Insurance Agency in 2011 as a Customer Service Representative. Karin has always enjoyed working with the public. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Shawn Turner

Agent

Shawn Turner came to Crapo Insurance Agency after a career spanning three decades in education, where he taught mathematics and coached baseball and football at the high school and collegiate levels. Born and raised in the Wabash Valley, Shawn studied Civil and Mechanical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology before graduating from Indiana State University with a degree in Mathematics Education. He also pursued graduate studies at Butler University, Indiana University, Indiana Wesleyan University, and Purdue University. Shawn is a licensed producer in Life, Health, Property, and Casualty.
